My attitude on most mornings these days...

SMS Messages

Value those friends who find time for you in their calender, but cherish those friends who don't consult their calender when u need them.   Each time i miss you, a star falls down from the sky. So, if find the sky dark with no stars its all your fault. You made me miss you too much.   Dosti naam hai sukh dukh ki kahani ka, dosti raaz hai sada muskurane ka, ye koi palbhar ki pehchan nahi, dosti sath hai umar bhar nibhane ka.   My friend should be my medicine when i am in pain, my letter when i am far, my smile when i am sad, my handkerchief when i cry, my life when i die.   If care is a wave i'll give you sea, if respect is a leaf i give u tree, if trust is a planet i give u the universe, if friendship is life i give u me...   Ek din humare aansoo humse pooch baithe, hame roz roz kyu bulate ho? humne kaha hum yaad unhe karte hai, tum kyu chale aate ho??   When nights are long and friends are few, I sit by my window and think of you... a silent wisper, a s

SMS from Shruti

Jab Kabhi Chand Na Ho, Andheri Raat Ho, Darr Na hoga Mujhko AGAR TUM SAATH HO... Jab Kabhi Badal Chaye Ya Ghani Barsaat Ho, Hoge Khusi Har Ek Boond Me AGAR TUM SAATH HO... Jab Kabhi Aasu Aaye Ya Buri Saugad Ho, Muskura Loonga Mai Tab Bhi AGAR TUM SAATH HO... Jab Kabhi Dil Ghabraye Saamne Haar Ho, Jeet Ke Mai Dikhlaunga AGAR TUM SAATH HO... Jab Kabhi Has De Alam, Khusiyon Ki Baraat Ho, Zindagi Hoge Jannat AGAR TUM SAATH HO...   This msg gives me a sense of deja vu, though I'm not sure why. Perhaps I've received the same msg earlier, but in that case, I like to think that I'd have remembered so. What I think is more likely is that this is an extract from some song, which I've heard and liked. Whatever it is, wherever it is from, its good.

This is me, standing in front of my comp!!!
* Need and desire have no connection. Many people desire things they do not need. Happiness can be measured by what one does not need, but often to see is to want.   * "It is not enough to do, one must also become. I wish to be wiser, stronger, better. This thing that is me is incomplete. It is only the raw material which i have to work. I want to make it better than I received it."   * We generate our own environment. We get exactly what we deserve. How can we resent the life we've created for ourselves? Who's to blame, who' to credit, but us? Who can change it, anytime we wish, but us?   * Character comes from following  our highest sense of right, from trusting ideals without being sure they'll work. One challenge of our adventure on earth is to rise above dead systems - wars, religions, nations, destructions - to refuse to be a part of them, and express instead the highest selves we know how to be.   * No matter how qualified or deserving we are, w
It's amazing how this poems seems to capture the very essence o what I've sometimes felt in my heart:   AN UNWRITTEN LETTER   Almost a decade ago, When my mind was young, And I was too, When the world was beautiful, And living was a joy, I wanted to write a letter. To write something about myself My feelings and my dreams, My notions and my aspirations too. About the horizon, That surrounds me most, About sooo many things I have forgotten. But some things I could not forget, I could not fulfill my desire. I did not get an auspicious moment, Or i did not get any address. I failed to ind an addressee, I was lookin for all these years, To bare me, my mind and soul, In my hour of need and moment of joy.
A man who listens because he has nothing to say can hardly be a source of inspiration. The only litening that counts is that of the talker who alternately absorbs and expresses idea.
A proper body's not an object, not an implement, not a belonging to be admired. It's just you yourself. Only when it's no longer you, but yours, a thing owned, do you worry about it - It is in good shape? Will it do? Will it last?
It is an illusion to think that more comfort means more happiness. Happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply, to enjoy simply, to think freely, to be needed, and to be loved by all.
AS YOU CAN SEE, I'M AN EXHIBITIONIST. I can't keep anything under wraps. Not my passion for life. My need to grow. To change. To have ideas, opinions, To do, and learn, and see, And think all those things that'll make me someone... ME
Talk not to me of a name great in story; The days of our youth are the days of our glory; And the myth and ivy of sweet two and twenty; Are worth all your laurels , though ever so plenty .
